Well this card game is not a brand new one it was released a while ago in Japan and now is the #1 card game their. I mean that's good for only being over their 6 monthes or so. So why is everyone so excited over the new game and why is it so great?
Well the answer is it is fun and is similar to the two best games out there
Yu-Gi-oh (duel masters) and Magic the Gathering
So because these two games are so very popular and mind you not just here all around the world, and because of this Duel masters has one the hearts of millions in Japan and here in our country the USA.
This card is simlar to Magic the Gathering more than any other game. I mean it has five colors Green, Red, Black, Blue and white. It has casting costs and mana to cast it with. The only diffrence is the Shield factor and bloking factor, these games are more simlar then people seem to realize. And like Yu-Gi-oh the monster part of the game is simlar in which higher monster for less mana are good. This is also similar in Magic the Gatthering. Also the games moves faster than Magic like Yu-Gi-oh plays.
So Duel masters how is it?
Well about a moth or two ago I purchased a starter set and a box and I loved it and me and a freind play it and the best gaming and Paintball store in the world Champion Card Collectors is going to start having tourny's for it and it is going to be quite fun. The game requires more thinking because any card can be placed in the Mana zone for mana so now we have to consider what cards to place and what cards to play and what cards to save and that type of stuff. I noticed it is alot easier to make an error in this game because "good moves" are not nearly as clear than in Yu-Gi-oh or magic.
Because there is an increasing amount of players all around the world I think we got a new fad or maybe it is even to stay. But wether it is a fad, or the New magic I think it will be fun to play as ling as I can.
But before I finish this article I must give you my words of wisdom. If you want to play get into to it now when card prices are at the lowesat to attract new players. But now not later. This is going to be a new fad or a very popular game here in the USA just like Japan so buy now and sell or play later, it is a good investment the game is a very fun game.

PS. Though you probably don't know who I am yet (I'm sure if you explored the duelmasters.com site you'd come across my name a few times) it would be wise to take my suggestion. Also, to really get started, I suggest either going to duelmasters.com or duelzone.net many experienced players both play and post at these two locations.
